Jenna had a new experience last night. She graduated from her baby tub to the "big" tub. She didn't know what to think of the big tub at first. I sat her down as the tub was filling up and she did not like that at all! So I stood her up next to me while the water was running. The water started to get to her feet and she picked her feet up and wanted out.
It is cute how cautious she is of new experiences. I took some water and splashed her back and belly to let her know it was still bath time. She didn't want to sit up in the tub, but I did finally get her to lay on her belly and splash a little.

A Few Days of Vacation
I took Friday and Monday off work to paint more in the house. This time the hallway and guest bathroom fell vicim to a fresh coat of paint. The walls weren't really scuffed up, but the previous residents really liked hanging things with large nails and screws. Our guest bathroom is roughly 60 sqare feet and had 17 nail holes to spackle shut. Needless to say, it is amazing to see how much a coat of paint makes things look better. Color....what color is it you ask... Kilm Beige, the same color as the living/dining room and Jenna's room. (I know, I'm boring).
As for Jenna, she has really been pulling her hands and feet under her trying to crawl. She then rocks back and forth. She hasn't quite got her balance figured out, because when she tries to take a "step" forward, she usually ends up taking a nose-dive into the floor.

Smiles sent to Daddy in Omaha
Lance got up early this morning. Instead of making his usual journey to Vincennes, he drove to the Evansville Airport. He went to new product introduction for John Deere, in Omaha, Nebraska.
This evening, Jenna and I were playing and I decided to take some new pictures for daddy to enjoy in Omaha. I said Jenna, smile for Daddy.....
Jenna loves her daddy. She smiled pretty for him.

Play Ball
I purchased Jenna a ball today. It's a smaller, rubber ball that is bright green. When we were all finished with our supper, we sat down to play with it. Lance rolled the ball toward Jenna and she started crying (even with multiple attempts). Turns out, Jenna was scared of it and didn't want anything to do with it. It was adorable!
Lance and I rolled it back and forth while Jenna was watching. After about 5 minutes, she got curious enough to touch it. A little bit later, she started reaching for it while we were rolling it. She finally got to where she would play with it and laugh at it. No pictures, because the camera battery was dead.

Play, Sit, Babble, Toes, Paint, Kitty
Hi, this is Jenna reporting. Mommy has not been keeping you all up to date, so I decided I would tell you what I have been doing.
Kaity got me a baby doll for Christmas, I like to play with it when I wake up in the mornings. Mommy usually knows I am awake, because she hears me talking to dolly.
I have gotten to where I like to sit up now. I am pretty good at it, except sometimes people sidetrack me and I lose my balance. Mommy and Daddy tell me I am doing a really good job.

Monday, I went to see Theresa and all my little friends at daycare and Theresa painted my toenails. They are hot pink. I really like to look at them.
Mommy and I hung out on Thursday and Friday. She let me play on the floor, but I got upset with her, she was packing up my stuff and carrying the boxes out of my room I thought I might be moving again. Then she got out tape and started putting tape on the woodwork, I thought this was rather odd. Mommy then kicked me out of my room. When she let me back in, all my stuff had reappeared and the walls had changed colors. I think it looks better, but it still smells funny. See look, the walls were white, now they are beige.

On Sunday, Mommy and Daddy took me to Grammy and Papaw's house. Grammy really wanted me to swing, but I didn't want to. There was a kitty running around, so Grammy introduced us.
Kitty really liked when we petted her.
I really, really, really liked the kitty. It was very friendly and soft.
I am working hard on standing up. Mommy and Daddy keep trying to sit me on my bottom, but I put my legs under me and straighten up so that they have to help me stand. Mommy says I am getting strong. I think it's because I have been eating my vegetables.
