While working in the garage on Sunday I kept hearing something that sounded like feet in the gutter at the side of the garage. I told Lance and he went to investigate.
Investivation required dismantling the new gutters.
Inside we found a bird's nest.
With 4 teal eggs.
Which I happened to smash when I dumped them out of the gutter pipe. Oops.

WE have found several nests in the past couple of weeks, mostly of robins. We have one up on a light on the back of the garage at the new house and the babies flew out the other day. One was running around in the yard and Mattison was rollowing it around saying "baby bird!" It was so cute!!
