Today we went to see the OB to check up on the baby. I started the morning in ultrasound. Dr. Mann was worried because I am measuring big. He doesn't want me to have a 10 pound baby and he wants to make sure that I am not carrying a lot of extra fluid.... so he ordered and ultrasound to make sure the baby's growth is on track and momma is doing okay.
The ultrasound revealed quite a bit of good news, but a little bad news too. We are still having a girl, she is weighing 4 pounds and 6 ounces. That puts her in the 59th percentile for a baby in the 32nd week of gestation. They measured my fluid levels and they were at the very top end of the normal range. Her heart rate was 134, which was a little slower than her typical, but she was also in a "napping" phase when they took it.
We did learn today that she is in the breech postion. Dr. Mann said he would prefer that she were already head down, but she still has 8 weeks until our due date, so she has time. I asked him at what point we should be concerned or be thinking about our options and he said at the 36 week appointment. I guess she has 4 weeks to get head down before I SHOULD be worried, but I am worried about it now. The thought of them force flipping her or of having a C-section don't thrill me too much.
Lance and I have decided on a name... well a first name at least.... Shelby. We have talked about/picked out several middle names, but haven't decided/settled on one definately.

Bubbles
Tuesday afternoon when we got home it was so pretty that we went out in the back yard and played. Jenna had got some bubbles for Easter, so I decided I would how she reacted to bubbles now that she's mobile.
She ran around the yard, chasing them with a squeel of delight. Her level of excitement was adorable! She ran around and just chased them everywhere. Then she fell down and sat there and I blew the bubbles to her and she just giggled as they popped around her!
She started to lose interest and act like she wanted to swing.

Then she changed her mind when I got her in the swing. It was like she said, "will you blow me more bubbles?"

Crazy Hair
Jenna's hair has really been growing. Unfortunately it is getting longer in the back and not on top. I got this picture while she was playing in the tub!
I got a good laugh when I picked her up from daycare tonight. Theresa has hair and nail day usually at least once a week (she watches mostly only girls). Today, when I walked in, this is what I found...
Do you see her two horns?

14 Months
Today, Jenna is 14 months old. She continues to amaze us every day! This morning, I found 2 more teeth. I have not been searching every day because she has a tendancy to bite anything that gets close to or into her mouth. Both new teeth are on top, her other I tooth and a tooth farther back that feels much like a molar. I believe that makes a total of 7 teeth, 5 on top and 2 on bottom.
Happy Easter to all!

30 Weeks and No Hospital Visit
Tomorrow, I will officially be 30 weeks pregnant. I had my last 4 week interval doctor's appointment this morning. Everything seems to be going okay.
The last time I had a doctor's appointment I went downstairs and visited my friend April, who was on hospitalized bed rest. I did not get to visit with her today because after 40 days in the hospital, she got to go home (for continued bed rest). She has made it to 32 weeks and the babies are measuring right at 4 pounds each. Of course, the longer she stays pregnant the better it is for the babies, so we are still praying for her.
