Grandma and Granpa Hofmann were both sick when Jenna was born. Stan had been on several rounds of antibiotics trying to get over his cold and ear aches, they had decided (and we definately agreed) that they needed to get better before they met Jenna. I am happy to say Stanley and Janet are both feeling much better and were eager to get over to meet Jenna on Thursday evening.

Hanging out with the Hofmann Family
Lance and I made a trip north to visit with the Hofmann Family for Thursday, Friday, and the weekend. We got to see Aunt Angel, Uncle Ivan, and cousins Kaity and Kent. Kaity adores Jenna, it is so cute! Kaity was really excited to see Jenna and even held her for a while.
One day, maybe we will get a picture of Kent and Jenna. Kent was napping for a while when we arrived and then he was on the move when he woke up. It may be a while, because both our babies keep us on our toes.

Jenna was a little fussy because she hadn't napped well with all the excitement of the day. Lance and I were nervous that she wouldn't sleep well in different surroundings; however, she went to sleep at 11 and didn't wake up until 7 am when I woke her up! I think that's the longest stent she has slept so far! I slept like a rock all night too!

She slept all night!
Last night I tried to lay Jenna down about 10:30. She had eaten at 9 and it was bedtime for all three of us. She laid in her crib about 10 minutes and started wailing. I didn't want to listen to it so I put her in her swing. She loves her swing and it usually puts her to sleep. Well I guess she slept pretty well because at 11:00 I went back to bed with Jenna still in her swing and she woke up there at 7:30 this morning!
I would like to say I slept all through the night, but I didn't. I woke at 2:30 and again at 4 wondering when she was going to want to eat. However, I never got out of bed. I don't know if this will continue or not. I am not going to count on it.
Now Jenna is going to get a bath then Mommy is going to start on supper.
PS Just so you don't miss anything, there are 3 posts today.

Home Sweet Home 2
This is really the second half of the house photos. This is the office. It has a very pretty semi circle window and bright pink drapes!
This is the master bedroom closet. Carla (my sister) helped me paint on Saturday. Lance picked out the paint, Carla did the trim work, and I did all the rolling. The closet had a lot of trimming. Below is a photo of my sister's handywork!
Home Sweet Home
It has been brought to my attentin that some of the out of towners would like to see photos of our new home. There is now real rhyme or reason to the way the photos have been uploaded and for that I appologize. This is the street side view.
Jenna's room
One view of the living room, looking toward the adjoining wall of Jenna's room.
The other view of the living room. The photos are dark because it is extremely dark out today.
Half of the kitchen, which leads into the laundry room. From the laundry room you go into the garage.
This is the other half of the kitchen. There are two pretty semi circle windows in the house. One in the kitchen and one in the office. This is only half of the kitchen. It presently has a dine in kitchen that presently has our card table and chairs
There are also 2 full bathrooms, I did not figure needed to be photographed, much less have dedicated blog page space. I will likely have a second post with more photos.
