The last few weekends have been "honey - do" workin' weekends. Last weekend, I had Lance hang a shelf in Jenna's room, hang a new Tigger picture in Jenna's room, get a new shelf for the garage and pick stuff up in the garage, and replace the kitchen faucet (which had sprung a leak). I was very pleased with the work we got done.
This past weekend even more honey - do jobs got completed. To start with, we went to our northern residence, which had quite a bit of work done on it since my last visit. We had the basement painted with water resistant paint and the floor stained. We also had the front door re-trimmed and finished. I guess all that work (we hired out) just gave me more ideas of things that needed to be done. Saturday morning Lance started toddler-proofing the basement steps. He hung a piece of panneling around the 2x4s and built a door with a latch to keep anyone from playing on the steps. Meanwhile, I cleaned house and re-organized my canned goods that were moved around during the painting and cleaned in the basement. I decided to wash the curtains in the basement and back porch.... which lead to washing windows. There was a lot of work done over the weekend, but I a beat!

Preview of Jenna as a Big Sister
Yesterday when I dropped Jenna off at daycare, I got a small preview of what Jenna may be like as a big sister. One of the daycare moms had a little boy at the beginning of the month that started coming to daycare on Tuesday this week.
Theresa said Jenna has been very loving and sweet to him. She likes to rub his head and give him kisses. I got to meet Clayton on Thursday morning and actually hold him for a couple minutes. Jenna was just as sweet and gentle with him as could be. I just hope that doesn't change in the next ~3 months when she gets her little sister.

Daddy's Love
Daddy sure has been lovin' on his girls. I was welcomed home from work on Saturday with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Somebody must really love me!

First Birthday Party
Today we had a party to celebrate Jenna's First Birthday. Of course, there was family,
food, and cake....
and Jenna's first cake dive!
Yes, that is Jenna's full left hand mashing down the top of the cupcake!
She didn't eat a lot, but she did lick on her fingers!
Of course, we would like to thank our wonderful family for the presents that she received!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JENNA MAY!

Delta Doctor Appointment
This morning I had a baby doctor's appointment at almost 22 weeks. We revisited ultrasound because we didn't get any face, spine, or heart images during the first ultrasound. As it turns out we may have a very shy little girl on on our hands (yes, they checked and she is still a girl). She was in the breech position again, but they got 1 face shot, all the heart footage and 2 decent pics of her spine.
Delta weighed a pound, had a heart rate of 138, and is getting much more active.
