Outside Pictures of the Girls

Today, I dressed the girls up for no particular reason.  Then we went outside with the camera.  I got a few cute shots...

Playing Outside

75 degrees outside and it's still winter.  I have no real issues with it and frankly have enjoyed the weather lately; however, once winter is over I want winter to be OVER!  My girls sure have enjoyed playing outside Sun, Mon, and Tues evening.

We have spent quite a bit of this evening on the swing set.  See anything wrong with this picture?

Seriously look again, see anything funny in this picture?  Look at the swings and the kids in them, anything yet?  Okay, I'll tell you what I see that is funny with this picture.  Jenna is 3 and swinging in the baby swing.  Shelby is younger and swinging in the standard swing.  Jenna insists on swinging in the baby swing and Shelby is okay with it.

Shelby prefers to get down and run around anyway.  She was trying to "hold" the cat tonight.  It was more pulling the cat to its back legs by grasping his head/neck. 

 After I told her she was being mean to Smokey, she reached down and gave him a kiss to apologize.

 I guess Spot felt sorry for Smokey because they were snuggled up in the grass together a little later.

New Panties

I have a funny story to tell on Jenna.

I have been noticing Jenna pulling and tugging at her panties quite a bit lately.  It finally dawned on me that maybe she has outgrown her them.  I decided that was the case so Monday night when I was at the store I purchased her a new 12 pack of the next larger size panties.

Jenna was super excited, told me thank you, she thought they were pretty, and gave me a kiss.  I thought that was a pretty good reward for panties...

This morning she put on  clean panties (after staying dry in panties all night last night) when she got dresses.  She was extremely excited.  When we got to daycare, I ask Dejah to gather her too small panties and I would exchange them out for the newer, larger size.  Jenna just had this look of eagerness on her face and I asked her if she wanted to show Dejah her new panties.  She responded, "yes".  Then, she turns her back to Dejah pulls down her pants AND her panties and MOONS Dejah.  Jenna, not realizing what she has done, asked Dejah if she liked her new panties.  Meanwhile, Dejah and I are laughing hysterically.  Jenna in her 3 year old innocence has no idea why we are laughing and is very proud of herself for showing Dejah her butt panties.

Feline Update

I haven't said much about our kitties lately.  We started with 8 now have 5.  I got all 5 in one photo.

 This was not one of the original kitties, it just showed up one day.  We have let it hang out.  

It doesn't have a name and at this point I am unsure of gender.  

The girls love their kitties.  It is so cute.  They tell the kitties bye every morning.  In the evening and love to feed them in the evenings.  They all play outside together very well.

Spring is on its way!

Today was the first physical sign that spring is on its way around here.
